I already decided that I wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher when I was a little girl. Of course those years I wanted to become many other things. In high school I still had the desire to teach, so I decided to major  in Preschool Education in college.
Following my graduation I took many courses to advance my teaching methods and techniques.  I pursued my interests in visual arts, became visual arts mentor for the XII district in Budapest from 1982 until 1992.

It is rewarding to be able to apply to my work what I learned all those years. I believe that my interests outside of teaching helped me to become multi faceted. I was a gymnast for more than 20 years, studied piano, flute and singing. Also took an oil painting course. I've been able adapt many of these skills to my job as a kindergarten teacher.

A few years ago I took advantage of a great opportunity to live in the USA, to learn English and to get to know a different culture. I lived and worked in Boston, Massachusetts from 1996 to 2001. This period full of wonderful experiences had a great impact on me, now I think and view the world different then before.

Since I moved back to Hungary I worked in an English speaking private preschool/Kindergarten in the XII district in Budapest. The 7 years I worked in that school gave me great experience and routine in teaching English for Kindergarteners.

During my entire career I have always found pleasure in assisting children’s development and giving them love while educating them. I believe that teaching children is the most valuable job in the world!
Nothing makes me happier than to pass my knowledge to the children on their level, and to see how they take it all in and use it in their activities.

I am originally from the UK; however, since the age of four I have moved and lived in many different countries around the world. I like to call myself, “a citizen of the world”, as I have adopted many different cultures into my own life and am very accepting of new places and groups of people. Having travelled to many different places, such as China to Hungary, I find it very easy to open my eyes and mind to new ideas and viewpoints.
After graduating from college in America with a BA degree in Art History and Communication I had spent some months working with children of all ages from different parts of the world here in Hungary. And it only seemed natural for me to continue to do so. I admire anyone who can speak more than one language and the best time to start is as a child. I have a TEFL Online teaching certificate and it seemed to fit for me to help teach children English. To be able to give your child the opportunity to communicate not only in their mother tongue but also in a second language is such a gift that I will take every opportunity to do my best to teach your children English.

One day a little girl from my group in the daycare opened my palm and gave me a bubble gum and said : "Bubble gum is the best. I got this for you because you are the best".
This should be my motto in life, I would love to be the best for the children in my care, giving them everything I have to make their life happier every day.
I have a teacher's certificate. After finishing college I wanted to widen my horizons, see the world and perfect my language skills.
From 2001-2011 I have lived in the USA (Florida) and Canada (Calgary). Beeing a canadian citizen I had the opportunity to do what I'm passionate about in life. For the last 5 years I have  worked in a private daycare teaching preschool children as a room supervisor and also managed the daycare for 8 months.
It would be great to finally use my work experiences in my home country too.

Nagyon szeretem a munkámat, jó érzés látni a sok csillogó szempárt, ahogy a meséket hallgatják, jó velük bolondozni, amikor a játékra kerül a sor. Mindig örömmel jövök hozzájuk.

I came to Hungary in 1992 from Transilvania. My relatives and friends drew me here to my Motherland.
Although I started to work in a different field, but my love for children urged me to find a position where I can be in daily contact with them and to be able to admire and also to participate in their development.
In 2007 I was lucky enough to start working at Busy Bee, an English speaking kindergarten, and from the fall of 2009 here at Frisky Dolphins.
I leave the kindergarten every day with warmth in my heart, since I get so much affection and love from the children, that it would be enough for a whole city.

I've been teaching kids for 10 years. I like my job simply because I
love children and I like to watch them grow. I hope that the activities
I prepare, make children happy and more open for the world. I also
believe that music is very important for proper development so during my classes I play my favorite instrument - the guitar - and sing for
the children , with the children as often as possible.
I hope we can provide the best possible knowledge, good manners and basics which they can and should use in life
while growing peacefully, happily, and satisfied.
